We like to describe it as a "playdate with purpose." It is a charitable ticketed event for families to come and experience family-friendly fun, hosted by Laura Izumikawa with her favorite local creatives and small businesses, all to benefit and support families in crisis through organizations who are already doing the work every day. Our past events were held in Los Angeles & Orange County, California to support Olive Crest. This year we are taking it out of state to Houston, Texas and will benefit and highlight The Riverside Project.

The Riverside Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to strengthening foster families and their communities through training and collaboration.
In August 2020, they launched a city-wide strategic initiative to mobilize Houstonians to address the various social issues facing their neighborhoods.
They raise funds through the Response Network to provide tangible items and services that help families stabilize and to provide training for community responders.
We want to be part of this cause. Our goal is to raise donations to help in their efforts to fulfill the needs of vulnerable families and their children throughout Houston.
For more information about The Riverside Project, please visit Riversideproject.org

100% of tickets sales and other fundraising at the event will be donated towards supporting The Riverside Project.
We will be reserving space for The Riverside Project to come and share about their programs to our families who may be interested in learning more.
